BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as amended known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is hereby amended so as to rezone: A tract of land located in the 700 block of Cherokee Boulevard, being on the northeast and southeast line of Cherokee Boulevard northwest of Black Street. Lots 3, 4, and 5, Corker Properties VII Ltd. Subdivision, as shown by plat of record in plat book 40, page 34, R.O.H.C., and lot 7, Resubdivision of Lot 6, Corker Properties VII Ltd., as shown by plat of record in plat book 44, page 232, R.O.H.C., excepting from said lot 7 a strip 5 fee in width extending along the southwest line of Bell Avenue, said strip being currently zoned R-3, the deed to said property being recorded in deed book 2999, page 927, R.O.H.C. Tax Map No. 126N-H-2.3, 2.5 and 2.6. from C-2 Convenience Commercial District to M-2 Light Industrial Zone. SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this Ordinance shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, the public welfare requiring it.
